The Betty Drevniok Award

Haiku Canada established this annual competition in memory of Betty Drevniok, past president of the society.

Submission Guidelines for The Betty Drevniok Award 2014

The contest is open to everyone, including regional coordinators of Haiku Canada, except for the members of the executive of Haiku Canada

The submitted haiku must be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere

There is, for the first time, no submission fee.

Submissions for The Betty Drevniok Award, will be accepted until February 1, 2014.

The winners will be announced at the Annual General Meeting in May 2014

First Prize $100; Second Prize $50; Third Prize $25

The top eleven poems will be published in a Haiku Canada Sheets and distributed with the Haiku Canada Anthology

No entries will be returned

Please submit three haiku, preferably by email, in the body of the email, not as an attachment, to drevniokaward2014@haikucanada.org
