Ignatius Fay

Ignatius, a retired invertebrate paleontologist, has been a student of haiku for twenty years. More recently, he has begun exploring tanka, haibun and rengay as well. His poems have appeared in many of the most respected online and print journals.

His latest collection of poems, entitled Breccia, a collaboration with fellow haiku poet Irene Golas, was published in October 2012. The previous year, he published Points In Between, an anecdotal history of his first 23 years.

As of December 2012, he is the editor of the Haiku Society of America Bulletin.
