Katherine J. Munro

Katherine J. Munro, also known as 'yukon froghat', publishes under the name 'kjmunro'.

Born & raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, she moved to the Yukon Territory in 1991. She has volunteered with

The Whitehorse Poetry Society (www.whitehorsepoetry.com)since 2008, & is currently working on a poetry manuscript.

Her haiku with the first line 'Yukon snowflakes fall' won Honourable Mention in the Canada Category of the Haiku Invitational 2010 contest of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. In September 2012, the haiku with the first line 'golden maple leaves' placed second in a national contest called Summer Sport Poetry Competition 2012 at The Literary Review of Canada.
