Liette Janelle

Liette Janelle was born in Montreal and lives in Boucherville on the south shore of Montreal. Studied in French and graduated from English High School. Worked for The Montreal Catholic School Commission for 17 years.

Member of different associations: Haiku Canada, Association francophone de Haiku, International Haiku Association and Tanka Canada/Gusts.

A few honors received: First Prize winner at Mainichi Journal contest International Section in 2010, Mention of Honor in Italian at Torino in Italy in 2006 and a Lion d'Or at Montpellier in France in 2005. In many anthologies all around the world in different languages.

Her passion is writing.
