Elena Calvo

Elena Calvo started journaling and writing poetry at age seven in her native Spain. She writes lyric poetry, aphorisms, haiku and tanka in both English and Spanish. Her main influence is mystic writings. Her work has appeared in different anthologies in Canada, as well as in Ottawa Independent Writers (OIW), Haiku Canada and KaDo publications. She has been an active member of the poetry circle Chrysalis since 2005.
